Animal Cruelty is an issue both foreign and domestic. While the US Government cannot always get involved to save animals abroad, creating better measures and task forces dedicated primarily towards animal protection and proper treatment, in zoos, pet-stores, and in the home. Having an agency to prevent the importation of illegal animals, prevention of animal abuse, and proper treatment of animals by law enforcement. I believe taking these steps will greatly reduce incidences of abuse and improve animal's lives in America.
