Creating Melmarits law, This law is to force employers to give fair breaks to all employee's of Florida

Created by M.A. on June 11, 2015

The great state of Florida follows Federal law so with that being said there is no law that forces employer's to give manditory breaks to employee's. This means an employee could work a double shift and not be entitled to a break for food or rest. This is not healthy nor fair for any person reguardless of age, sex, or race. This law must be put into effect. I have personally suffered from this. I have worked double shifts that started at 9:30am and sometimes I would not get off of shift till 2am. I was only allowed a 30min break for food. This has caused me to drop in weight from 115lbs to 93lbs. My body is now accustomed to only eating one time a day because of not having a law to protect the people from employer's and forcing employer's to give manditory breaks.
