Because about 70% of the surface of the Earth is covered by water, and oceans contain about 96.5% of all the water in the world.
What I propose is that is made a contest globally, endorsed by the UN, where people propose different types of models of flag, for each of the five oceans the world: Ocean Pacifico, Ocean Atlantico, Ocean Indico, Oceano Antartico and Ocean Glacial Arctic, and which then has feedback to choose the winning designs.
The main purpose of said event is to represent the Oceanos and the species that inhabit alli and take care awareness and preservation of marine ecosystems.
