We are in favor of the creation of legislation, "Eric's Law", that will require drivers, age 65 to 75, to be tested every two years for vision, hearing, and driving ability. After the age of 75, drivers must be tested every year. We propose that this legislation be called "Eric's Law" in memory of Eric Jason Hammer, a 27 year old who was killed on October 1, 2012, by an 85 year old driver that was driving the wrong way on a busy street.
