There are 98,817 public schools in the United States. Nearly 250,000 returning veterans are unemployed. After 9/11 the Federal government created the Dept of Homeland Security. I think it's time to create the Dept. of School Security, fund it, and create Federal jobs in the school security industry for returning veterans. We owe it to our kids, we owe it our veterans.
