I believe that there should be a national database like the do-not-call registry for email communications and known and potentially email virus. This would be useful for every American and would help to protect our infrastructure that's vulnerable to cyber warfare.
First, Americans will be more productive with less spam email and will lower the amount of viruses on the internet. Secondly and most importantly there should be a software made to automatically detect spammers, viruses and possible cyber terrorist.
Users should be able to flag possible spams and viruses and submit them to a database. If said database was augmented by cybersecurity companies it would be even better.
Just imagine the internet with less spam email and less viruses that will protect america's digital data.
