Creation for an Office of Men's Health (Similar to Office of Women's Health at HHS)

Created by M.F. on January 06, 2015

The Office on Male engagement could provide leadership/coordination to improve the health care, economic stability and family/social situation of men and boys through policy, education and model programs. This office offers a new approach to traditional problems in some communities, while supporting the changing roles of men in today’s society. This office would seek to engage men and encourage Healthier lifestyles (Doctors visits, eating habits, stress, safe sex, etc.). Increase economic stability (employment, education, job training /retraining, financial literacy) and improve Family/Social dynamics (Family engagement, healthy relationships, violence reduction) by providing information and guidance for men and young males as they transition the age spectrum to live longer fuller lives.
