Creation of a White Privilege Tax

Civil Rights issues have been in the news a lot lately, with police officers all over the country brutally attacking and killing innocent black men. The aftermath of these atrocities has opened up an increasingly racist dialogue, with white people using their white privilege as a reason to explain why they experience less confrontation with police. However, at the root of the issue is the fact that people without white privilege typically make up to 20% less than white people. Of the Forbes 500, only one - Oprah - is black. These economical shackles are what is creating this social divide, which I why I propose a white privilege tax, a 20% tax on all taxable goods, to be issued to all white people.
