America is one of the most obese countries in the world.
Americans spend $117 Billion of Direct and Indirect costs toward obesity annually.
Average-weight tax payers should not be penalized for these costs, but rather reimbursed for their continued healthy life style.
I elect to have some type of tax credit put into place, verified only be a licensed physician, for individuals who are not obese.
This would give an incentive to those people who are borderline obese, to get to a healthy weight. Not only will they be eligible for the credit, but they will not be spending as much on health care, food, etc.
If put into place, this tax credit would give back either a monetary credit back yearly, or a lowered health care cost over all for non-obese Americans.
