Credit bureaus should be illegal because of the current economy. Individuals have fallen on hard times and are trying to rebuild their lives and get penalized for bad credit up to 7 years and then for 10 years for bankruptcy. There is nothing fair about the credit scoring system and it should be done away with period. A strong rental history, references and a stable job should be enough to obtain a loan. Banks don't care what your reasons are about the bad credit or late payment history or limited history they solely make their decision based off of your credit score. This system is flawed and needs to be dismantled and shut down. If you want the economy to turn around you Mr President need to make laws that help the people not hurt them.
