Make public records of dismissed charges illegal, and provide strong criminal penalties for those establishments, websites, and employment background check agencies that do that. These articles should be under slander laws and should be punishable by Federal law. The laws for individual citizens should be just as strong as the laws for businesses are, and we should be fairly and adequately protected.
