Criminalize discriminatory speech by elected officials & by any person seeking to be elected into a public office.

Created by L.F. on February 10, 2016

ALL Americans have a right and obligation to participate in our democracy. Participation includes listening to those seeking public office in order to formulate a voting preference and listening to elected officials who govern us afterward. All Americans should be able to listen to our democratic process, without simultaneously being subjected to discrimination.

This petition asks for a strictly enforced law with severe punishment (incarceration) to deter discriminatory acts and verbalization by elected leaders at all levels of government as well as political candidates for elected public office who use the platform of our democratic process for publicity, The law should also criminalize the act of machine ink printing the name of any guilty candidate on an election ballot.
