It is illegal to falsely yell fire that panics people yet it is legal to make a false statement that panics millions of people. Media outlets that pass opinionated lies and deceptions as news or fact are destroying our nation. We need laws that fine and imprison predators of the truth that do not give their listeners a constant warning they are hearing opinion and not fact. The money and power that lies and deceptions generate for groups like Fox News, conservative talk radio & etc make them a powerful foe and they own many politicians. Only a great effort by millions of good Americans will stop these predators from farther poisoning of the minds of people with their opinionated fiction. Educating people on what is fact and what is opinion will do wonders for curing our problems.
