Our Military has established duties & a code of conduct all *must* abide by at all times. Dereliction/Duty, Neglect/Duty, & Desertion, among others elicit a Court Marshall, Stripping of Honors, & Dishonorable Discharge.
Our Elected Officials, & their direct Appointees, should each be held to these same basic standards. John Boehner's refusal to allow a pivot vote effectively shut down Government services. This is a dereliction/duties (as Speaker, he MUST have control & make decisions putting Americans ahead of his party). That 80 members (15%) of the House, aka-the "suicide caucus", coerced Boehner to change his mind-he denied the vote/a direct Dereliction/Duty to Americans FIRST, leaving $24 Billion lost. This is NOT in America's interests.
