Excessive alcohol use is the 3rd leading lifestyle-related cause of death for people in the US each year. Further, alcohol use is a significant source for drug treatment admissions and visits to emergency rooms.
Tobacco use is the most preventable cause of death and disease, with an estimated 443,000 people dying prematurely from smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke each year.
