In a country where the common person can be jailed in most states for simple drug possession, it is the height of hypocrisy to slap HSBC on the wrist with a fine for enabling drug cartels and terrorists to thrive. The decision to forego criminal prosecution in this case speaks volumes about US drug policy.

You are essentially saying "Give us a cut of your profits and we'll allow you to get away with anything."

Punish those responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
