There is little doubt about the criminally fraudulent causes of the 2008 meltdown: the government's own Financial Crisis Inquiry commission used variants of the word "fraud" at least 150 times in its final report.
If there is consensus that there was widespread fraud, why has the government criminally charged exactly zero people?
