The Department of Justice decided "against indicting HSBC in a money-laundering case over concerns that criminal charges could jeopardize one of the world’s largest banks and ultimately destabilize the global financial system." This is Unfair. The whole point of the law is that everyone is equal under it. EVERYONE, including big banks. I understand the economic situation and the decision not to go after the bank, and thus request that if the bank must only be fined at least charge the people responsible for the bank's decision. To not do so would be a vast injustice that goes against the nature of our great country.
