The mass slaughtering of animals for quick production of everyday foods (beef, pork, poultry, milk, etc.) should be looked over and laws should be changed. Animals are being slaughtered and abused because its considered "humane" but many are put in poor conditions, their throats are slit, many are boiled alive, smothered, and even and killed with gas. Even some cattle are hacked alive and fully aware. This should be stopped. Animals deserve the same respect that a human would.
