Curb senseless gun violence without impacting 2nd amendment: Bullet Tax

Created by B.G. on October 05, 2015

Why must the issue of gun control be oversimplified to "no limits on the 2nd amendment" or "no guns in America?" Can't we even have a meaningful discussion about potential ways of deterring gun violence in this country? There is a simple way to curb gun violence, increase mental healthcare, & protect our children.

Place a high tax on bullets sold to private citizens.

The revenue could go to fund individual states, increase mental healthcare for those in need, and even support the families who have lost loved ones to gun violence.

Will this end all gun violence? No. However, it is a simple solution that requires no databases, no additional governmental bureaucracy, & it doesn't infringe upon anyone's 2nd amendment rights.

It's time to put politics aside & start protecting Americans.
