In June 2013, when James Comey was nominated to be the next Director of the FBI, the President said, "Jim is exceptionally qualified to handle the full range of challenges faced by today’s FBI."
It is clear after the Islamic terror attacks in both Orlando and San Bernadino that Mr. Comey has not been the change the FBI has required. The Agency has repeatedly made the same mistakes as it did prior to his tenure, namely: the FBI's failings in Orlando were nearly identical to the failings with regard to the Boston Marathon bombing.
The FBI needs new leadership that will enact the change the agency requires. It is clear that while the President had high hopes for Mr. Comey, he has proven time and again that he is not "qualified to handle the full range of challenges faced by today’s FBI."
