The current US administration should take interest in the food service practices of the Salt Lake City school district.

Over the course of the past week, it became known that Salt Lake City superintendent Dr. McKell Withers ordered food trays to be removed from students' hands after they had received their lunch. His rationale behind such a decision is the students' inability to pay for their lunch. This practice singled out students based upon their family's income, which is a form of discrimination. Due to his gross lapse in judgment and failure to think of what would be in the best interests of these students in particular, and the student body in general, this man should be removed from his position of power over the Salt Lake City, UT school district.
