The $100 per flight user fee is the wrong method to try to reduce the deficit. This will actually have a negative and opposite desired effect of what the Obama administration is trying to achieve. Over taxing the aviation community is NOT the right way to reduce the deficit, or off set the FAA's budget. Just like there is a tax on automotive fuel for roads and highways there is a tax on aviation fuel for the funding of the FAA. The user fee is just plain misguided and wrong.
This is not a request from the American people. Take the $100 ATC user fee off the the budget and out of congress and the senate.
