cut all benefits and pay of each Congressmen and the President until they put their country before their political party

If politicians can't avoid the fiscal cliff because their political egos are too big and they are more worried about their reelection, then they have failed to serve the American People and should not receive compensation for their lack of 'service'. If they don't do their job, they shouldn't get paid.
