Yoweri Museveni, the President of the Republic of Uganda, has signed into law the criminalization of homosexuality, of providing aid to homosexual human beings, and to other vaguely worded "homosexual activities". When asked to respond to the criticisms of Western human rights groups and leaders - such as President Obama - Museveni slammed such criticism as a form of "social imperialism" and flat-out demanded that the West stay out of "African" politics and society. If that´s what he wants, then fine; he also won´t mind if Western money stays out of his country as well. We call on the US government - and any other country which finds laws such as these repugnant to inherent human rights - to withhold all foreign aid to such countries (starting with Uganda) until said laws are repealed.
