Planned Parenthood is a private organization that does not need taxpayer money. If an individual would like to donate money to this organization let him do so out of his own pocket. In a time when our government is in such debt it seems irresponsible to give so much money to an organization that is so controversial. According to Wikipedia.org; "Planned Parenthood receives about a third of its money in government grants and contracts (about $360 million in 2009)." There are many more, well-intentioned organizations that would be happy to receive any portion of that.
