Najib Razak, current prime minister of Malaysia, who was never voted by the people, has now rushed the National Security Council Bill through Parliament when other more pressing matters of concern to the people's welfare was ignored.
This Bill gives him dictatorial powers over the people and even the constitutional rulers, the Sultans and Rajas of Malaysia as well as the governers of certain states.
He has the power to declare a state of emergency anywhere after which the military will have the right to search, arrest and even kill any civilian without the need for accountability.
This bill is a desperate attempt to remain in power as investigations into numerous acts of corruption are being carried out in countries worldwide while those in Malaysia are being silenced.
