Cut the benefits and payroll of congress and senate

Nearly 1,346,000+ men and women have given their lives to protect the freedoms and interests of United States of America and due to acts of congress and government "leaders", the members of our armed services have experienced pay cuts, promotion set backs, and loss of our benefits, is that how we treat heroes? I believe I speak for every american when I say, If they put our lives on the line for YOU then THEY deserve some sort of respect, and this treatment is far from it, because exactly how many presidents have died fighting for our country? OR how any senate members or congressmen and women have died? Cut YOUR pay, cut YOUR benefits and see how fast this country will turn into a better place for every american, because this, I consider an act of betrayal.
