Cut congress in half. Lay off 50 senators and 237 house of representatives

Created by J.W. on September 24, 2011

Before planes, trains, automobiles, telephones, cell phones, e-mail, IM and video conferencing you could argue we needed a statesman every 20 square miles. With the technology of the 21 first century we can, ( the corner stone of every republician) and should have smaller government. We just saw how Congress behaved. Enough is enough! We can instantly create confidence in the economy, save money and balance the budget with 268 less politicians. That will save at least 2 billion a year in salaries and 180 billion in waste.
