Congress Men and Women make an average as Senate Leadership: Majority Party Leader: $193,400, Minority Party Leader - $193,400, House Leadership: Speaker of the House $223,500, Majority Leader $193,400, Minority Leader $193,400, along with Government funded meals with cost well beyond the means of our budget. Cutting the funding from Congress would be way more beneficial for this Country than cutting from our Military.
