Cut Congressional and top Government Salaries until budget is balanced

Created by R.F. on February 25, 2013

Until both Houses of Congress pass and implement a balanced budget (defined as a government budget that produces a surplus), all government salaries over $200,000 will be cut by 10%. The cut will not be deferred, the salary will officially be reduced.

Congress will also reform policies for spending of taxpayer money. Government employee vacations and family expenses must be paid with personal income and not taxpayer funded money. This includes the President, First Lady and all senior Cabinet positions.
