The fiscal cliff is looming, Congress has a super-low approval rating. The people of America are the "bosses" of Congressional representatives, seeing that elections are decided by the people. And yet, Congress still refuses to accomplish the big projects in a timely fashion. What employer allows this to happen? NONE. I know I am sick and tired of hearing this bickering, and the rest of the country is too. We elect these people to solve real problems in this country, not to compound them with pettiness (especially now that its affecting the country's credit rating, etc). Therefore, the government must act to save our future: CUT CONGRESS' PAY by A LOT so that these senators/representatives know that we mean business. If they don't do their job, they need to see a meaningful consequence.
