As a condition of "employment," all members of congress shall be REQUIRED to attend all sessions. Absences may not exceed five days and may be used only for sickness, bereavement, or family emergencies.
After five days of absences, said member shall be docked one day's pay.
Each congressional member shall have one week (five business days) of vacation.
All members of congress shall be offered a medical plan consisting of an HMO with co-pays and deductibles, as set forth by a private insurance company, such as Blue Cross.
Upon termination of employment, 'COBRA' coverage, shall be offered if member is over the age of 55.
No car allowance. No expense account.
Mileage shall be reimbursed at .50 per mile.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed per diem.
