CUT FAMILY VISA BACKLOGS FOR LEGAL STILL WAITING IN THEIR COUNTRY AFTER 8 YEARS F2-F3 CATEGORY MERIT BASED VISA

Created by M.C. on December 07, 2014

The Immigration Action is unfair for the legal immigrants that still waiting in their country after many many years.

The backlog in family visas will continue to act as a disincentive to do things the right way.

I'm US born citizen with US Citizen parents (from Ellis Island in 1922) and after 8 years my son that born abroad (in Italy) still waiting LEGAL in F3 category for family based visa (married sons & daughter of U.S. Citizen).
The Law: then my children could not be American citizens as I left the United States at the age of 15 which means I was too young… this is the law (broken). The law, in fact, requires that the person must have stayed in the United States 10 years, five of which after the 14th birthday (no common sense, my parents lived and worked 40y in US)
