The federal government has not raised or cut taxes on gasoline and diesel since the 1990s. With today's prices and since we continue to buy oil from other counties this petition is to attempt to slash taxes on gasoline and diesel. Also, diesel is a more unrefined product before gasoline. Therefore, it's is a cheaper grade of fuel which mean it should be at least the same price as regular grade gasoline or below like it was in the 1990s. America is the land of the free but how can we travel this great nation when we pay nearly or above $4.00 a gallon for fuel?
