Cut foreign aid instead of needed programs in our country. Get us back on our feet before spending in other countries.

We spend billions of dollars in foreign military aid and nation building abroad. With the fiscal cliff looming over our heads, politicians are talking about raising taxes and are proposing spending cuts in our country. But noone is talking about cutting funds to other countries' militaries.
We need to start with nationbuilding right here. Stop the foreign military aid and spend that money right here in America. Once we're back on our feet we can invest this and improve infrastructure, create more jobs and spend it on those who are really down on their luck, until they get back on their feet as well.
Humanitarian aid to disaster stricken areas can stay, even though we need the money in this country. We still should give to those countries.
