After numerous human rights violations, the high ratio of civilians-to-militants killed on the Palestinian side of the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the urgent issues of our own budget, and the continuation of settlements in Israel pushing into Palestinian land, it has become glaringly obvious that extending billions of dollars of aid to Israel is both unnecessary, detrimental in the cause of ending the conflict between Israel and Palestine, and irresponsible considering our own fragile economy.
