Goverment size and spending should be cut instead of increasing taxes and eliminating tax breaks. A bigger government means less freedom for Americans and more tax dollars to support it. A small government would also mean a stronger economy. It isn't the governments job to regulate and oversee the private industry. It is also not the governments responsibility to hand out free money to those who doesn't deserve it and who hasn't put anything into the system. It's time the goverment realizes that they are hired and paid by the American taxpayer's. And the goverment shouldn't be able to give themselves the power to increase government without the taxpayer's approval (via a vote).
