Mr. President;
Please support the cutting of government spending as a viable way to start repaying the national deficit. The government does not need to be involved in the everyday life of U.S.A. citizens. People have been taking care of themselves rather well for the past 10,000 years or so, as evidenced by the fact that we are still here.
In reality, the citizens pay anyway. All these extra programs to help pay for peoples' living expenses come from the pockets of all Americans, or is borrowed.
I believe in the principle that a person works best for himself and those he loves. If he no longer has to work because everything is being given to him, the country breaks down as more and more people stop working and depend on the government.
