Our current staff of law makers is extremely over paid with too many benefits. They are all elected to be working FOR the people not for them selves. The current governing body has not proven that they have earned what they are paid.
Thus I propose that the members of Congress, The President and their over paid staff are subject to an immediate 30% cut in wages and benefits retroactive to Jan 1 2013. This also covers Health Care and Retirement which should be the same as the rest of the government , i.e the Military.
This would go a long way towards Federal Budget Cut. They are elected by the people and we the people should have the final say in their pay. Any future Government pay raise proposals must also be approved by the people.
