Cut Government waste by cutting and limiting Federal salaries and benefits.

Cut Federal spending by cutting and limiting Federal officials' salaries and benefits received to levels of anyone else in Public Service occupations. The choice to serve the public is not a choice to get rich, but a choice to serve the public and to be a voice for all of us. Being an elected official should come with certain reasonable benefits, but not at the cost of our economy's well-being. We, the American citizens and taxpayers, do not mind paying taxes, even higher taxes if needed, if we are assured that you have taken steps to cut Government waste and that our national deficit is receding. We also demand that Federal officials receive the same Medicare health care plan that everyone else must receive, including its limitations.
