Cut the military budget in half and put our tax dollars back into education, environment, and public services.

Our government spends almost half, if not more, of our tax dollars on military and warfare. While American citizens are struggling to live their lives our government is using our hard earned dollars to terrorize other parts of the world. If we are going to pay taxes we should be paying taxes that will benefit the people. The answer to our financial crisis in this country is simply to STOP financing military spending with income taxes and put this money back into the U.S. economy. We don't need more drones, we don't need more surveillance, we don't need more missles or bombs. Stop waisting our money.
