As a United States citizen, I feel it is, not only our place, but our obligation to lead the world into a new, more peaceful era. Why spend so much funding War and the deaths of millions for materials we need as a nation, or our freedom which isn't going anywhere regardless, when we can just put more funding and attention to research in space travel, exploration and colonization then have an infinite access to all the materials we could possibly ever need over the course of our existence. Also put more funding towards med research
In other words, put OUR money, to uses that actually benefit humanity as a whole. Nations will not always be divided for over time as always, we will evolve and become one nation. A united people of Earth. Why fight, when In the end, we're killing our own people
