Because we are fifteen trillion dollars in debt and paying incredibly large amounts of money in interest. I think we need to cut military spending by closing some overseas bases by about twenty-five percent. I dont see why we need bases in such ports as: Japan, Germany, Cuba, when these countries are our allies and we can create a base there in times of emergency. Have the bases in the US so solders spend their money in the US, not over seas.
