Cut military spending and increase education spending.

America's military budget needs to regain a sense of reality and we need to set our priorities straight. While our education standards are suffering and our student's opportunities are plummeting, we're running out of time to create a country worthy of defending. Education is the foundation in order to build "a more perfect union" and excel and compete in the world's growing economy. If we don't act now, America will be faced with an even more pressing problem than terrorists and poverty: an entire generation robbed of the tools they need to imagine, discover, and create.
