Cut the national debt by requiring all political advertisements to send a matching amount to the U.S. Treasury

Require all political parties, super-pacs, and any other agency advertising political candidates to send a matching contribution to the U.S. Treasury. Over 4 billion dollars was spent on political ads in 2012, nearly 1 billion on the two major presidential candidates alone. It just seems like a waste of money when the debt is so staggering. The candidates can still advertise, and help the country at the same time!
