Cutting out the fine arts requirement from school will allow students to pursue a much more academic road to success built around core classes such as: Mathematics, Sciences, English, History. It will also allow students to hopefully pick up classes that may help them with their future goals such as: Web design, Java, Digital Media, Wood Shop, or maybe even study hall. Allowing students the OPTION to avoid the arts will allow them to focus more on what they want to study and pursue in life. Apart from giving the student more freedom in their education, it also lowers a school's cost for art supplies, which can turn out to be a bit of a money saver.
