Cut the Pay of the Congress to reflect the National Mean income.

Created by J.P. on January 17, 2013

The starting salary for Rank and File Members of the Congress is close to 4 TIMES that of the average american.

How can those chosen to speak for the common man make accurate decisions when they live above the means of the common man.

I would request that the salary of Congress be cut to $53,000 annually which is still about 10,000 more than the average citizen, but is more than enough for them to live their lives comfortably.
