Cut pay to senior elected officials during government shutdown. (POTUS, Sentors, Congress, and advisers included)

This petition is to request that the administration initiate an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would effectively cut the pay of the President, all Senators, all members of Congress, cabinet members and advisers during periods of government "shutdown". This country, those who serve it, and the services it provides are too important to be "held hostage" by any stalemate of partisan politics.
