Cut pensions of Congress rather than the military. The military have sacraficed everything. #leadershipbyexample

Recently Congress passed a bill that would cut retirement benefits for military retirees by $6 billion over 10 years. After two unpopular and arguably unnecessary wars the Veterans of today have risked life and limb. This petition aims to veto the bill passed by Congress and seeks to limit or cut the Congressional retirement benefits. Those who have risked it all should not be punished by the inadequate and ineffective leadership of a Congress who remains unaffected by such cuts. A true demonstration of true leadership is to lead by example. Congress: put your money where your mouth is. You too are American citizens and as such as leaders of the political spectrum should act accordingly and feel the pain the rest of us are going through (because of your failures).
